How to Look Good in Tights

Fall is here and tights are on high demand. From solid colors to patterned there is always the right tight for the right outfit.

Here are a few of my styling tips:

It's important to use tights as a pop up color when your outfit is mainly of one solid color. Adding some visual to a monotone outfit will make your look stand out and be right on style. If you are wearing a brown skirt and brown top with a pair of brown boots by all means do wear a pair of green tights, you style will pop out in a trendy and fun way.

Let's say you want to change your look and instead you are always wearing a brown skirt with a brown top and a pair of ankle boots then just go ahead and wear a pair of burgundy tights. Burgundy tights can also be worn with a dark blue dress.

A monochromatic look should always be neutral. If you are wearing a black skirt with black tights and black shoes or boots, it's important you wear a bright or bold color top.

If you are wearing a black dress and black tights why not add a bright color pair of shoes and maybe accessorize with a nice chain necklace.

One of my favorite styles is matching your tights to your top or shirt, it's fun and whimsical.

Let's move on to patterned tights by saying they are in style!! Many women seem to shy away from patterned tights but this shouldn't be the case because they seem to add a statement it's important to add them to a simple neutral color outfit; making sure it compliments your outfit. Wearing a neutral camel color outfit and spicing it up with a pair of leopard patterned with bring out a sense of confidence in your look. Wearing black patterned tights with bold colors will add confidence, sexiness and style to your look.

Nudes are back! Don't be afraid to wear nude and most of all don't be afraid to look old by wearing nude, sales have increased in nudes, they are stylish, trendy and classy.

As for white tights, it's ok but it is important to know how to wear them. Wear them with neutral outfits and neutral boots (brown, tan, grey), stay away from wearing them with black boots.
